We had been contacted by a lady who was convinced her estranged husband was cohabitating and had left her for an additional woman. She wanted proof of this and also wanted to uncover out exactly where he was living
Our client told us that when her husband first left he was extremely sad and apologetic as he felt that following 26 years of marriage that they had grown apart and he didn’t think he loved her any more. He stated he required time apart and did not wish to tell her exactly where he was going. He took a significant quantity of money out of their joint bank account which he stated he needed to set himself up in a brand new place to live.
Even though waiting for her husband to return their relationship started to go from amicable to acrimonious. He stopped answering her calls and paid less funds into their bank account. Our client was confused by this and she felt this was very strange behaviour for him and fully out of character. A friend of hers suggested that he may well have another woman as a similar thing had happened to her. She also urged our client to give us a call to see if we could support as we had helped her in the past.
We carried out a session of surveillance on her husband and found the address he was living at and that there was another woman living there. We then looked into the address and it was registered in his name along with the woman he was living with. They had bought the property together just soon after he had left our client.
We had been able to present our client with all of the evidence she necessary to divorce her husband for adultery. Our client she stated that soon after the initial shock it all became clear and that her husband had almost certainly been having an affair with this woman for a lot of years. She is now ready to move on with her new life.
